How we use your information

We use your information to provide psychotherapy services, arrange and manage appointments, communicate with you about your care, and process insurance claims where relevant. • Stripe payment processing, where sessions are paid for online.
  • Your insurer (for example AXA, WPA, Vitality, Aviva, Aetna, Allianz, Healix, Bupa) where treatment is insurance funded, relevant details are shared to process your claim.

We do not sell or share your information with any other third party for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your information

We retain clinical records for 7 years after the end of treatment, in line with BACP guidance and our professional indemnity insurance requirements.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the information we hold about you; request corrections to inaccurate information; request erasure, subject to our professional and legal obligations to retain clinical records; restrict or object to certain processing; and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your information has been mishandled.
